Our team responds to service and general inquiries within one business day. Use the Service Inquiry form if you have a specific project or need, and the General Inquiry form for everything else. Either way, your message is routed to the right person at GHA, not a general inbox.
A Service Inquiry is for a specific project or need, such as municipal engineering, GIS, land surveying, or water resources. It asks which service you’re interested in so we can connect you with a specialist. A General Inquiry is for questions, partnerships, media requests, or anything that doesn’t start with a project.
Call GHA’s Public Works 24-Hour Response Line at (224) 352-0650, any time of day. It connects you directly with operators who handle water main breaks, suspected leaks, lift station alarms, pressure or flow irregularities, and sanitary sewer backups. For non-urgent matters, call our main line at (847) 478-9700.
Submit a request through our Request a Count form. GHA collects traffic, turning movement, parking, pedestrian, and bicycle counts anywhere in the Midwest and across the continental U.S. Tell us the locations, count types, and timing you need, and our Traffic Data Collection team will follow up with scope and schedule.
Vernon Hills, IL (headquarters), Schaumburg, IL and Lenexa, KS.

Our clients include municipalities, counties, townships, school districts, park districts, forest preserves, colleges and universities, healthcare systems, HOAs, and commercial and industrial property owners.
Current bid opportunities, plans, and specifications for GHA-managed projects are posted in our Bidding Center, linked at the top of every page. If you have a question about a specific bid package, contact the project engineer listed in the bid documents or call (847) 478-9700.
MS4 clients can access annual reports, program documents, and resources through MS4 Connect, linked in the site footer. If you need login help or have a question about your community’s MS4 program, use the General Inquiry form or call (847) 478-9700 and ask for the MS4 Program Support team.
Both. GHA partners with public agencies and with private clients including developers, healthcare systems, commercial and industrial property owners, and homeowners associations. Services such as site civil engineering, land surveying, traffic impact and parking studies, and water resources are frequently delivered for private-sector projects.

Visit our Job Openings page to see current full-time, entry-level, and internship positions across our Illinois and Kansas offices and apply online. GHA is 100% employee-owned, so every team member is a co-owner. Questions about careers can be sent through the General Inquiry form.
