The Village of Long Grove engaged Gewalt Hamilton Associates, Inc. (GHA) to design locally-funded streetscape improvements along Robert Parker Coffin Road from the historic bridge west of Old McHenry Road to Archer Road east of Old McHenry Road and mirrored the improvements completed by Lake County Division of Transportation on Old McHenry Road.
The improvements consisted of approximately ¼-mile of HMA roadway reconstruction with new curb and gutter, 1,600 feet of new water main, storm sewer improvements, street lighting, bike path and sidewalk.
