GHA assisted the Winnetka Park District in developing a long-range Master Plan for redevelopment of the park, as well as implementation of Phase I of the plan. The Skokie Play Fields is a 40-acre active recreational park located along the Skokie River entirely within regulatory floodplain.

These improvements included the addition of a large multipurpose synthetic turf field, reconfiguration/upgrades of the existing natural turf ball fields, athletic field lighting, irrigation, reconfiguration/reconstruction of the parking lot, and traffic signal improvements.
