Gewalt Hamilton Associates, Inc. (GHA) provided manhole televising and inspection services for the Village of Lombard as part of an infrastructure assessment and GIS integration initiative. The project involved inspecting approximately 450 storm and sanitary sewer structures, collecting condition data, and integrating findings into the Village’s ArcGIS Survey 123 platform for improved asset management.

Using CUES SPiDER and Envirosight QuickView 360 scanners, GHA conducted detailed NASSCO MACP Level 1 and 2 assessments, documenting structural conditions, material types, and any observed defects. The 360-degree digital imaging and GPS mapping ensured that each structure’s condition was accurately recorded and classified.

Findings were presented in a structured repair recommendation report, which included prioritized cost estimates categorized by severity levels. This data allows municipal officials to plan targeted rehabilitation efforts and allocate resources efficiently.

By integrating field data with GIS-based tracking and asset management, GHA delivered actionable insights to support long-term infrastructure maintenance and planning.
