Gewalt Hamilton Associates (GHA) was retained by the Village of Vernon Hills to provide construction phase services on the Mellody Farm Development off-site improvements on the northeast corner of Milwaukee Avenue (IL 21) and Route 60. These major roadway improvements substantially changed the roadway geometrics and operations for these critically important roads.

New traffic signals were also installed as well as augmenting and modernizing the existing signals. In our role as a liaison for the Village of Vernon Hills, GHA provided extensive coordination, involving progress updates; conflict resolution; and schedule impacts between the Village, IDOT, Regency Centers Corporation (developer), Construction Manager, Design Engineer, and contractors.
