Gewalt Hamilton Associates (GHA) has been the consulting engineer for the 15-acre Unilever property on Kilbourn Avenue in Chicago for many years, including a energy center and process water pretreatment facility. GHA was the lead consultant for a proposed facility $7.5 million dollar facility expansion that relocated 200 tractor-trailer parking spaces to the north side of the site.

GHA’s design team was successful in keeping up with the many changes that the owner requested during construction. GHA’s full time construction assistance eliminated a proposed undercut valued at $1.0 Million dollars.
